Barcelona-El Prat Airport closed April with 3,329,318 passengers, representing an annual increase of 4.7%. In the first four months of the year, there were 10,643,656 users, 5.2% more than in 2014.

Passengers on routes with EU countries were the fastest growing in April with an increase of 7.8% over 2014. Intercontinental passengers increased by 2.5%, while non-EU International passengers decreased by 0.5%. Finally, passengers on domestic flights grew 1.6%.

In terms of operations during the month of April, 24,928 take-offs and landings were performed, representing 2.6% more than last year. So far this year, 82,446 movements have been performed, 1.5% more than in 2014.

Finally, Barcelona-El Prat Airport has transported 9,201 tonnes of cargo, 10% up on February last year. Cargo on non-EU international routes grew 17.7%. In the first months of the year, a total of 35,925 tonnes of cargo was transported, representing an increase of 8.7% over the same period in 2014.
