–  This figure represents an increase of 2.7% compared to the same month last year.
–  Operations increased 1.3%, with 27,709 movements.
–  Nearly 9,916 tonnes of goods were transported, 16.2% more than in 2014.

During the month of June a total of 3,815,345 passengers passed through Barcelona-El Prat Airport, representing 2.7% growth compared to June last year. In the year to date, the airport has reached 18,063,943 users, a figure 4.8% higher than the same period in 2014.

Passengers on routes to EU countries were the ones that grew most in June, with an increase of 8% over last year; followed by users on intercontinental routes, with an increase of 3.6%. There was a notable increase of 1.2% in the number of passengers on domestic routes.

As regards operations, 27,709 movements were carried out last month, representing an increase of 1.3% over 2014. From January to June, 137,038 landings and take-offs were performed, up 1.4%.

Finally, last month 9,916 tonnes of cargo were transported, a figure 16.2% higher than in June 2014; with the increase in the non-EU international market standing out, which grew 28.8% this month. In the year to date, 55,509 tonnes of cargo have been reached, representing a rise of 10.2%.
