Air cargo in Barcelona grew 2.3% in 2014 to stand at 102,692 tonnes. The main airlines at the airport grew a little more (+3.6%). Both values were below the Spanish mean for cargo (+ 7.2%) and especially far below Madrid (+5.8%) and Zaragoza (+20.4%). Zaragoza is likely to continue to grow and reach a cargo volume similar to that of Barcelona in 2015.
