Business and Territory accompany the port of Barcelona in Chile

The trade mission of the Port of Barcelona in Chile, which began its institutional agenda last Saturday, will be attended by the directors of Business and Territory of the Generalitat de Catalunya, Felip Puig and Santi Vila, who will accompany 56 Catalan companies. The goal, as explained from the Catalan Government, is “to find local partners and new business opportunities in the areas of smart cities, environment, energy, education and logistics”.

Likewise, this meeting will also be attended by five representatives of the Four Motors for Europe, an association of the regions of Catalonia, Rhone Alps, Lombardy and Baden-Württemberg. Of all the companies that accompanied the Generalitat, 21 of them they will continue the agenda in Santiago de Chile with the minister for Business, while the remaining 35 will do so with minister Vila. In this second case, they will also travel to Valparaiso. At the same time, the minister of Territory, together with the director general of Transports and Mobility, Pere Padrosa, and the president of the port of Barcelona, ​​Sixte Cambra, will lead another delegation of 35 exporting and importing companies in the logistics and port sectors, “with the aim of strengthening business and institutional links between Chile and Catalonia, contributing to the promotion of the Barcelona logistics community”.
